The premise of this book is that Kaylie has a secret.sometimes she sees a particular person and can't resist the urge to scream.and scream.and scream! She has an overwhelming compulsion to scream because she KNOWS they will die. I have to say I am willing to find out and grab book 2.
I have the feeling it might get old after a few, but it might pick up and become more adult as it goes on. It was funny in the way Buffy the Vampire Slayer was funny, on an intellectual level not a slapstick one or laugh out loud because someone was embarrassed.this book was witty and energetic. The book was fast paced, and really funny. So.on the one hand I found this book in the romance section.but it only had a few kisses.why did it only have a few kisses.because the main characters are in high school! Yup, sucked into a YA novel when I expected paranormal 't say I'm sorry! This book was REALLY good! In a literary world over-run with witches, werewolves, and vampires this is a different paranormal breed and I have to say I am intrigued.
